Thank you Linda Langrill!

We should all take a moment to recognize and appreciate the efforts Linda Langrill expended into the organization and leadership of this years rally. To be sure, Linda and her assistants spent many days at tasks not many are willing to tackle to make this rally one of the most memorable. Some of which include contacting the airports involved, procuring sponsors/trophies/prizes, and arraigning banquet facilities, FAA weather briefings, transportation, Sundays pancake breakfast, motel booking, etc. Linda's greatest feat though, was the perfect weather.

Please take a moment to write Linda and let her know how the rally was for you.

I'm not sure what to attribute it too, but most all the teams did better this year than last. In the previous rally the top 21 finishers had a total score of 6,906 seconds, this year the total was 2,617, better than halving last years total.

Since my team won this rally in 1994 I've been trying to do it again and finally succeeded. Now that I'm happied up again, and my latest co-pilot Larry Vihtelic has tasted victory, we've discussed that we may sit out the next rally and offer our services supporting the next rally. We would like to fly it just because it's so much fun, but not as competitors.
